The ANU World Solar Challenge team ‘Sol Invictus’ (Latin for invincible sun) was founded in 2015 and consists of a group of enthusiastic students and academics. Together, the team aims to compete and cross the finish line in the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and beyond. This flagship extracurricular program will showcase The Australian National University’s world leading knowledge and research from across all discipline.
The team consists of a business, technical, operations and administration team, with the leads of each of these sub-teams, the project lead and the race team leader forming the leadership team.
Our Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring that the rest of the team understands each other’s responsibilities within the organisation, as well as the overall progress of the project. The team also forms an essential part of the team’s internal communication and also helps to ensure team integration, both between sub-teams and between team members. The team is split into several smaller teams and positions which work together closely to ensure the smooth running of the project.
